Two 24V 7.5AH batteries provide an impressive driving range of up to 19 miles.
However, it is important to note that driving habits, temperature, weather, loading weight, road conditions, and other factors may affect the overall range.
Motors
The lightweight IQ-9000 travel chair is equipped with two 250W brushless silent motors. Each motor operates independently, delivering a combined motor power of 500W.
With a motor torque of 1.1Nm, these motors have the capability to climb inclines up to 10 degrees.
Intelligent Electromagnetic Brakes

Intelligent Electromagnetic Brakes provide several benefits for wheelchairs, including improved safety, smoother braking, and reduced wear and tear on the wheelchair's components. Unlike traditional braking systems, electromagnetic brakes are highly responsive and can be controlled with precision, allowing for a safer and more comfortable ride. They also require less maintenance and have a longer lifespan compared to other braking systems.
Additionally, electromagnetic brakes can help prevent the wheelchair from rolling away when parked on a slope or incline, providing greater peace of mind for the user.
Travel Friendly
The IQ-9000 is a lightweight foldable travel wheelchair. The 7.5AH (180WH) lithium-ion battery is travel approved by most major airlines and cruise lines. Before travelling by airline or cruise, please contact the airline or cruise line to confirm their travel battery regulations.
Reclining
The IQ-9000 is available with an optional auto reclining feature. At its full upright position, there is a 10° angle on the backrest. By using the joystick controller or remote control, the backrest will recline up to 55° from the upright position.
The reclining feature of the IQ-9000 provides additional comfort to the user and should only be used when the wheelchair is stationary. Do not use the recline feature while the chair is in motion as this could lead to tipping and severe injuries.
Controller (Joystick)
This state-of-the-art wheelchair features a digital joystick controller with an LCD display for effortless navigation, alongside automatic reclining capabilities for maximum comfort during your journey. The quick-release function on the controller always ensures seamless operation.
The controller contains the power on/off button, the speed selection buttons, the horn button, the battery level display, and the 360-degree joystick controller. If your IQ-9000 supports the auto reclining feature, your controller will also include the recline and upright buttons.
Cushion & Backrest
Experience added comfort and easy maintenance with the leather cushion and backrest of our electric wheelchair.
The IQ-9000 lightweight electric wheelchair is designed for maximum comfort, featuring a memory foam cushion with cooling gel inserts. For additional comfort and easy maintenance, you can also choose to add a leather cushion and backrest, which are easy to clean.
Remote Controller
The IQ-9000 comes with a remote controller. The remote control allows you to maneuver the chair, adjust the speed, honk the horn, and recline the chair (if applicable). The remote control works at distances up 30 feet.

Speed
The IQ-9000 has seven speed selections and a limited top speed of 4 mph. The seven speed selections will deliver 15%, 30%, 45%, 60%, 75%, 90% or 100% of the maximum speed with speed one being 15% of maximum speed and speed five being 100% of maximum speed.
Seating Area Width
The IQ-9000 is available with two seating options: a 17.5" wide seat or a 20" wide seat, known as the IQ-9000 Plus. The seat width is measured at the broadest point between the bars supporting the armrests.
The IQ-9000 offers unrivaled comfort through its memory foam gel inserts and silicone cushion technology, featuring a 16" cushion width. The IQ-9000 Plus, on the other hand, comes with an even more spacious 18" cushion width.

The IQ-9000 Plus weighs 55 lbs. without the battery. The automatic reclining feature contributes an extra 3 lbs. to the weight of each chair.
Loading Weight
The non-reclining IQ-9000 and IQ-9000 Plus supports a maximum weight of 330 lbs.
TThe IQ-9000 and IQ9000 Plus with the auto reclining feature support maximum weight of 310 lbs.
Wiring/Electronics
The IQ-9000 wiring, connectors, processor, motors, and controller are weather resistant and are able to resist light rain and winds. It is important to understand that none of the electronics are weather or waterproof and should avoid heavy rains or submersion in water.

Maintenance
The IQ-9000 does not require much maintenance. Monthly cleaning, inspecting, and tightening of bolts and nuts should keep your wheelchair in good working order. Proper charging of the lithium-ion battery will prolong your battery life.
Anti-Tip Bars
For added stability and safety, the IQ-9000 wheelchair is equipped with adjustable anti-tip bars. ComfyGo 9000 is life changing
I purchased this chair for my husband about 3 weeks ago and we are already very pleased. It was easy to finish assembling and he started using it right away. We opted for the auto-recline because it makes it easier for my husband to sit for longer periods of time. The manual folding and unfolding is very simple and it has been proven easy to operate. The controls have just the right amount of sensitivity. The power to the wheelchair has been good and he has made it up minor hills with no problem. Charging is easy as well. The cushion on the seat is better than most wheelchairs but we will likely by a thicker cushion to make it more comfortable. There is only a few items we wish were a little different. 1)The headrest (it would be great if it had side support). 2) Folding lock - would help to lift the wheelchair into our car if there was a lock to hold it in the folded position. 3) The safety wheel attachment - You can not stand the wheelchair upright in the folded position when the safety wheels are in place. They can be removed or adjusted to be positioned higher for storage but it is a bit of a pain to do on a regular basis.

Everything arrived in pristine condition. Even the wheels were wrapped to protect them. Assembly was minimal. Only thing missing was one screw for the headrest. Called ComfyGo and it was immediately shipped out. Great customer service. Easy to set up and begin using. Researched extensively before buying and it was the best choice by far.

Few issues
First off let me say this chair is liberating! It is easy to fold and put in the trunk of both my SUV and my husband's car. The seat and backrest are soft for easily bruised bodies. Very comfortable compared to anything else I tried. Now for the issues...When I checked this out at a showroom I noticed the headrest was broken on one side which made me nervous. I was told by the salesman it was damaged in store and not to worry as it was much sturdier than it seemed. Unfortunately within 3 uses my headrest met the same fate. Not even sure how it broke just noticed the 4th time using it the headrest was wonky and sure enough it was broken. Second issue was it came with only one of the batteries plugged in took us weeks to figure this out. When we went on a trip and had to remove the batteries my husband noticed only one battery plugged in. This was not explained to us at the dealers office. Would be helpful to know. Then the last issue was the bolt on the right side of the footplate came loose and disappeared in flight. Even with the few issues we have had and are waiting to hear back on from comfygo I would buy this chair again. It is a great chair even with the few issues.
1. Can I turn my wheelchair on or turn off with the remote control?
No. The wheelchair’s power must be turned on before the remote control is turned on. This allows the controller to pair with the chair.
2. Does my wheelchair arrive fully assembled?
Your wheelchair will arrive almost fully assembled. When your wheelchair arrives, you'll need to attach the remaining parts.
3.Can my wheelchair go on an airplane or cruise?
Yes. The 7.5AH (180WH) lithium-ion battery is travel approved by most major airlines and cruise lines. Before travelling by airline or cruise, please contact the airline or cruise line to confirm their travel battery regulations.
4. Can I operate my wheelchair with the backrest in the reclined position?
The wheelchair will still operate if the backrest is reclined. However, we do not recommend moving your wheelchair while reclined as this could lead to tipping and severe injuries.
5. I’ve run out of battery. Can I push my chair?
Yes. The IQ-9000 wheelchair can operate like a manual wheelchair. To do so, make sure the power is off, then disengage both motors by pulling the levers on each motor to the unlocked position. Doing this will set your wheelchair to free wheel mode.
6. Does my remote control come paired with my chair?

7. Can I silence the beeping sound my wheelchair makes while reversing?
Yes. To remove the beeping noise, press the (+) key on the controller until you reach the top speed then hold the button down until you see the amber light in the middle of the display. Quickly press the horn button and the beeping will stop. Repeat these steps if you want the beeping sound back.
8. Does the armrest raise?
Yes. Both armrests can raise to allow an easier exchange or to make it easier to push you chair closer to a table
9. How do I charge the battery?
The lithium-ion battery can be charged through the joystick controller or directly on the battery. The charge time for an empty battery is 6-8 hours. If your battery has a partial charge, the charge time will be less. When the battery is fully charged, unplug the charger from the battery and unplug it from the power outlet.
10. Can I install my controller on either side of the wheelchair?
Yes. The controller will be setup on the right side of the wheelchair, but it can be easily moved to the left side.
11. Does my wheelchair come with a warranty?
Yes, The IQ-9000 wheelchair comes with a standard 3-year frame, 1-year motor, 1-year battery, and 1-year electronic parts warranty.
12. Can I use my wheelchair on dirt and grass?
Yes. The IQ-9000 can traverse low grass and compacted dirt with ease.
13. Where can I find the serial number of my wheelchair?
The serial number can be found in three places, on the frame near the footrest, in the product manual, and on the box the wheelchair was shipped in.

I ordered the IQ-7000. Having MS and declining mobility, this chair is going to bring my independence back. The one handed joy stick savesme from striggling with handle bars. After resisting for some time, my husband agreed that his life was being limited by his decreasing ability to walk distance without pain. So, the IQ-8000 was purchased and has filled the bill. Movie theaters, airport terminals, malls, ADA-rated parks; all had been closed to us and now are on the ticket again.
The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars, the chair design would be improved with a lock mechanism when in the folded position. At 60+ lbs., it takes both of us to lift it. Trying to put the folded chair into the trunk or back seat is awkward when - unless you lift it just right, the chair will start to unfold as you are trying to move it into position.
