The ComfyGO Phoenix electric wheelchair is really light weight and easy to lift in and out of vehicles. This makes it really easy to take anywhere it is needed.
I looked at all the lighter weight electric wheelchairs. I tested them and decided on the IQ-9000 with auto-recline. While not the lightest, It was the most sturdy and solid. The foot rest is not flimsy at all. In fact, I stand on it sometimes and it holds my weight easily. I really love this chair. My wishes are : that it would go faster (I feel the need for more speed), that the normal foot rest would elevate without using the clunky individual foot rests like a manual wheelchair has, and that the seat and back cushions were more cushy and supportive. I would also make it easier to drop in the batteries to connect them. I have a little trouble getting under the chair to reconnect the batteries. All in all, I really enjoy using this chair. I get a lot of people who stop me and ask about it. I recommend it to anyone who asks about it. Great product. Use me as a tester and designer, I have ideas for improvements.
