IQ-8000 Electric Wheelchair Replacement Parts

Love this chair for my daughter with cerebral palsy. It has remote control and battery lasts long. Also, the team onsite at Comfygo in Chino are excellent willing to help you with what you need in regards to spare parts or keeping the chair going strong for years.

My son was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma two years ago. The chemotherapy attacked his bones and he now has osteonecrosis in his knees and shoulders. We bought this to help him get around school and the store and the house where possible to use it. We’re grateful because he has mobility now that he didn’t before. He recently went on a band trip to California and took this thru security and flying with it was no problem. However that said, the irritation is it seems like everything is falling apart or breaking every time we turn around. A nut came off one of the bolts on the wheel while at school, imagine a teenagers embarrassment when that happens!!! The anti-tip wheels both broke off, the foot stool pad is garbage, when he is turning one of the wheels is now making a noise, and most recently the bracket that the control joystick mounts to, it broke.

He’s not abusive to it, we have to load it and unload it when we take him to his appointments, physical therapy, or the grocery store, so everything is just happening to it via regular usage, it’s just annoying to feel like every time we turn around something else is on this is coming apart. We now have a sense of dread for him to be at school and this thing breaks down again on him.

Now, to its credit, the motor and the batteries have been great!! We have had no issues with the motor as of yet, the batteries keep a great charge and last a long time, the material is holding up great, the stitching is great, the ref leather is getting stained from his denim jeans, but that’s to be expected, and it’s light enough my wife and I can load and unload it (one of the big reasons we bought it).

This is why I gave it a three! Overall it’s just okay, I wouldn’t say it’s worth the $3500 price tag we paid for it due to the issues we’ve had, but the bones of it, the motor and battery, have done the job nicely.

Thanks to the wheelchair I can move anywhere.

With this chair I am more independent, it has two powerful engines, five speeds it lasts the load, the 360 turn ayida a lot, it is a sturdy chair.

We needed a new battery for our Comfy go before we left for vacation. Eric was a huge help and assured us we'd have it in time. He was true to his word, it was there with 1 day to spare. Thank you for the great service and customer care.
