I have had my IQ-8000 for almost a year now. It has been on a plane, train, cruise ship and truck. I have used when we go camping and it will even go smoothly down 4-5 steps. I often get compliments on it. Also, I have had people ask about it that would like to get one. It is holding up nicely and easy to use. It’s very comfortable to sit in. I rarely use any additional cushion. I currently have 3 fractured vertebrae along with other issues so comfort is important. It folds and unfolds easily. I like that you can plug the charger into the controller. It makes it easy to charge while we are out. The charge in the battery it came with usually lasts all day. It drains faster on uneven ground. I’m female 5’11” and 280lbs. My sons lift it easily in and out of the vehicles. We haven’t managed load it in the vehicle using the remote & ramp yet. We use a tie down strap to keep it together when traveling because it doesn’t have a latch to keep it folded. Honestly, if it did we’d probably use the strap anyway. We also disconnect the controller and put it in the bag to keep it more secured. The included bags give a ton of space. I definitely recommend this wheelchair. I’m very happy with it.
The Majestic IQ-8000 is what I have been needing for a while now. Easy to load and unload in my vehicle. Turns on a dime and enables me to be more mobile. It gives me the ability to be more self-sufficient and less dependent on my family.
Majestic IQ 8000. So far I really like this chair. My wife and I purchased this for my use, my other scooter is to hard to transport and this one, along with the aluminum ramps we purchased, is much easier to handle and transport. It folds flat enough to close the Tanou cover on my wife’s small truck. I’ve only had it a couple of months so no long time experience. I will say it makes some annoying noises and occasionally when the joystick is in certain positions the chair will vibrate instead of moving, like it gets confused but it quickly regains stability. The remote is pretty cool and I can see how it can be useful.
Just received my Majestic IQ-8000 electric wheelchair though ComfyGo Mobility. Very pleased with the chair and all its features especially the fold down ability for portability.
The IQ8000 is easy to use, the manual is printed in English and easy to understand the descriptions and instructions. The seat is comfortable especially for long hours. The footrest is positioned comfortably and getting in and out and transfering from the chair is easy and feels secure.
I reviewed other makes and models and since I am used to operating an electric wheelchair, I was looking for certain features I need so I'm glad to have purchased this model by Majestic.
I had a couple of questions and called the CA number. Their tech support is superior. In talking with a representative he answered all my questions to my understanding and I felt that I was not alone when I needed the help. I appreciate all the time and effort in the tech great support.
It was a little hard to get used to but I love it now.
